Money Milan is a marvelous underground force that is making notable waves on her way to the top. Born Brittany Brown from Dover, Delaware, Money Milan is a femcee using her platform and bars to bring her own perspective to light for other young women. Before the interview, she made sure to shout out LivengoodLivin, Soundproof (the group that manages her), and the girls in the “Flavah” music video.
Music Description:
“You want people to grow with you.”
As self-described, when Money Milan raps, she wants to represent the classic Hip Hop attitude: the “in-your-face”, swagged-out, but equal mix of elegant and fun energy. Milan would rather start off with representing this energy, allowing for her listeners to grow and feel this attitude throughout her growing discography. She released her last project in 2018.

Purpose:
“I want people [girls] to feel comfortable without having to do so much.”
Money Milan’s marvelous artistry not only lies in the way she attacks her bars, but her deadlined-focus to be a positive representation for other women in ways that do not have to be sexual. She wants people to focus on her raps first and foremost, as well as the subliminal messages she tries to deliver in her visual performances such as with her close friends showcased in her music videos. Money Milan’s community and sense of tribe is extremely important to her, as they always accompany her to shows and are always supporting. It’s one thing to be a marvelous artist, but it’s even better to be a marvelous artist with a just as marvelous purpose for the people she represents.
Personal/Career Highlights:
“Started with nothing, and it basically grew.”
Money Milan recalls her show in Reading, Pennsylvania in which she shut down the stage. It made her realize that she started with nothing and made a family, as well as a group of fans who genuinely hung on her words and artistry. Another career highlight was putting out her music video for “Flavah”. She opened up for Lil TG on December 21st, 2018 and was amazed that people were even chanting her lyrics.
Money Milan has more marvelous marks to make on this world. Stick along for the journey by checking out her discography and keeping up with her social medias at @_moneymilan on Twitter and @moneymilan on Instagram.
